this era of technologies who doesn’t love to sing and dance. All around world
people love to dance with their partners (or life partner) for those geeks
there is one dance form known as “Bachata Dance”
So
what is Bachata Dance?
Bachata
is style of dance that originated in Dominican Republic, and it is danced
widely all over the world but not identically. This is also known as sensual
dance form and it is made for partners.
So,
to perform this classy dance form you have to take some classes i.e., “Bachata
Dance Classes”
Now
you would have question in your mind that why to take classes for a dance?
My
friend, everything in life doesn’t come easily. Don’t worry i will advice you
about Bachata dance.
The
real key is to Start. Start Small, Start
Now.
Don’t worry too much about getting good or flexing
or anything like that from the get go. Learn to love and enjoy the process of
learning. Practice your BASICS.
The BASIC is the key to everything. It’s
difficult to find a teacher who can teach the basic properly but any bachata
teacher worth his/her weight in gold will be able to teach the basic for days,
months, years on end and still reveal something new.

The KEYS TO SUCCESS
are as follows (This is for both leads and follows)

PRACTICE YOUR FUNDAMENTALS.

BASIC STEP. BODY ISOLATIONS. TIMING. ELASTICITY. ETC It don’t matter how
good you look if you’re always off time, and a terrible partner to dance with
in terms of feel (and if you are either of those things right now, don’t worry!
You’ll get better.)

TAKE BACHATA CLASSES. Privates are the
best bang for buck if you only care about skills, then Group classes. Be
careful of “performance teams.”

Joining a performance team is great and fun but there is a DIFFERENCE
between how good someone looks on stage and how good someone feels when you
dance with them. Be wary of this.

Understand that most great performers also have their FUNDAMENTALS AND
BASICS down pat first. Later on, performing really is just about learning and
mastering sequences of choreography. So focus on the basics instead.

YOU NEED TO GO OUT AND SOCIAL DANCE. ESPECIALLY
WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE BAD AND YOU’RE NOT READY
So
these are some of the advices it is useful if you follow them thoroughly.
This
dance form has several health benefits such as
- Strength exercise,
- bachata dancing will help you strengthen your bones and keep your joints functioning without stress.
- The health benefits of this dance can be seen in the long term with the prevention of certain diseases such as arthritis or osteoporosis.
With so much health benefits how can you
neglect this dance form, I know some people who at starting did well in bachata
dance then after certain time period they tend to lose interest in the dance
classes thinking that they are pro in bachata dance
.
If you
have taken decision to take up the dance and classes as well then please be
regular and do practice. Nobody can become superstar overnight
.
